QuestionsResponses
What is your favorite activity or subject in school?English IV
What is your least favorite subject in school?BSN Math A
What are your "best" subjects?Graphic Communications, BSN Math A, Government
What subjects are difficult for you?Eng IV, although, it\'s mostly the reading part
What are your favorite games or sports?I mostly tend to game, since I\'m not good with sports. Whenever I do play games, I tend to play games like Splatoon that improve my reflex time and ability to think quick. However, when I want to take it slow, I just play VRChat on my new headset I bought. It\'s a great community with tons of people to meet and play with.
If you could learn about anything you wanted to, what would you choose to learn about? Be specific. (For example: science-fiction writing, meteorology, architecture, Shakespeare, Africa.)If I could learn about ANYTHING? I would definitely like to further my research into how Autism is formed, per se. Rather, when does it occur, why does it occur? As someone who is autistic, I want to know why I\'m the way I am.
What are three things you like to do when you have free time (besides seeing friends)?Whenever I have free time, I tend to either chat with friends, play games, or even watch YouTube.
What clubs, groups, teams, or organizations do you belong to? Include both school activities and those not Sponsored by the school.
Have you ever taught yourself to do something without the help of another person? If so, what?I taught myself how to draw without the help of another person. I mostly used how-to draw books, then eventually learned how to use references later on.
If you were going to start a book club, what kinds of books would your club read?Nowadays, I don\'t tend to read long-form novels. To me, they\'re boring and while not hard to read, if it\'s not an interesting subject, it\'s hard for me to pick up. If anything, I tend to read Manga, which is a Japanese comic. Honestly, those things have pictures and words and action and I love them!
If people were to come to you for information about something you know a lot about, what would the topic be?It would probably be just remembering things, like, \"When was the paper due?\", \"Do you know where you put so and so?\", and so on. Though I guess an actual topic I know a lot about is Victorian Fashion. The different silhouettes, what kind of hairstyles, the make-up.
If you could plan a field trip for learning, where would you go?If I could go on a field trip for learning, and I had no budget? Then I\'d go to Japan! I want to learn more about the history there, the cultural significance in certain events, learn about the different eras of Japanese history, and of course, take a bento box making class!
When you’re using the computer, are you usually playing games, doing homework, doing research, visiting Web sites, visiting chat rooms, shopping, exchanging email, programming, or some other activity?I usually tend to play games when I\'m on my computer, but if you consider social media like Discord chat rooms? Then yeah, I\'m mostly visiting chat rooms too.
If you could interview an expert on any subject, what subject would you like to talk to someone about?I would love to interview an expert in Manga artistry. I want to learn all the tips and tricks as to how to make a good manga!
What careers are you currently interested in?Manga artist, Graphic designer, YouTuber, Video-editor
What helps you learn? (For example, a hands-on activity, reading, taking notes, or reading out loud.)I like taking notes and reading directions out loud. If I can take things slow and understand each direction, then it\'s good enough for me!
What makes learning more difficult for you? (For example, lectures, lots of writing.)Whenever something is not clarified or is vague, or when a teacher jumps too fast in their notes. How am I supposed to know when you didn\'t give me the time to write it down.
Think of a great teacher you’ve had. Describe what made this teacher so terrific.I think a great teacher I had was a teacher back at my old school, Madame Wills, my French teacher. She was the sweetest lady on the Earth. She would often help me out and even excused me when I couldn\'t make up the work due to personal issues I was facing at the time. That, and, she made learning French fun!
What else would you like me to know about you as a learner?I am Autistic, that does not mean I\'m a pure genius. It does not mean that I am incompetent. It just means I need a little more time to write down and figure out the world. While I am a fast learner in some subjects, I am a slow learner in others! Please be patient with me.
