A High-Paying Skilled Trade
The field of welding has been a popular career choice for students who want to work in high-paying, skilled trade.
Students in the Welding program learn modern welding processes, including Shielded Metal Arc Welding, Gas Metal Arc Welding, Flux-Core Arc Welding, and Gas Tungsten Arc Welding. Students will also learn Plasma Arc Cutting and Oxy-Acetylene Welding and Cutting, Blueprint Reading, Operating Metal Machinery Equipment and Fabrication.
Students have the opportunity to earn welding Certifications in all welding processes trained in, including 6G pipe welding.
Senior students may qualify for apprenticeship and early placement programs.
