Auto Body Repair-Welding
Learn and practice the skills needed to paint a car or restore older vehicles and motorcycles. Skills include: Repair techniques of newer and older vehicles, the care and operation of a spray gun, masking and panel preparation, undercoat application, and topcoat application (basecoat and clear coat). Operate a MIG and gas welder, Weld small patches, Repair holes in plastic bumpers. This course may also be customizable.

Computer Aided Design (CAD)
An introduction to AutoCAD. Class covers program customizing, layers, 2D shape creation and editing, as well as introductions to drawing automation and 3D shapes. Class size is limited.

Education institution member of the American Welding Society. This full-time course is one that focuses on the competencies and disciplines to prepare and certify the adult learner for employment as an entry level welder. Educational Institution Member of the American Welding Society. The purpose of the Welding Technologies program is to prepare an individual for an entry-level position as a welder. The program includes a mixture of technical knowledge and practical experience needed to be successful in the welding and fabricating field. This full-time course is one that focuses on the competencies and disciplines to prepare the adult learner for employment as a:

• Production SMA, GTA or GMA Welder
• Production Machine Operator
• Construction Welder
• Welder Assembler
• Welder Fitter
• Maintenance Welder
The hands-on experience includes thermal cutting, oxyfuel welding, shielded metal arc welding, gas tungsten arc welding, gas metal arc welding, flux core arc welding, and pipe welding. The technical portion of the program includes a study of the various types of welding equipment, safety practices, correlated mathematics and blueprint reading. The total program is 612 hours over a years time and is broken down into semesters. The class meets Monday–Thursday from
5:15–9:45pm and may include Saturdays as scheduled by the instructor. Since so many employment opportunities are available in this area, we are allowing students to slot into the semester schedule.
